We currently support 70 girls between the ages of 11 and 23 in the Woodhouse area of Mataffin, many of whom come from low-income households. Our reach includes girls attending John Mdluli Primary School and Cyril Clark High School, as well as post-matriculants pursuing entrepreneurship, tertiary education, and short courses.
Our distinctive peer-to-peer mentorship model empowers older girls to guide and inspire younger ones, fostering a strong sense of leadership, connection, and continuity.
In conjunction with social workers, we ensure that every girl receives the emotional and social support needed to grow and thrive—academically, personally, and holistically.
Each girl in our programme receives:
Assigned mentor per girl
Monthly toiletry packs to support hygiene and dignity
Assistance with career mapping and guidance
Assistance with applications to Tertiary Institutions, registration costs, stipends & transport to & from institutions
Tutoring and study aides
Holiday programs, food parcels, & exposure to inspiring women who reflect their potential
